The highlight is the Pushkar Camel Fair, a centuries-old religious festival that draws thousands of pilgrims and is the largest camel fair in Asia. Against a backdrop of groaning camels, a multitude in colorful safis and turbans and clanging temple bells, you'll find camel races, magic shows, dancers, musicians, jugglers, puppeteers, snake charmers and peddlers.
