- 60,000 people treated in our Mobile Medical Clinics,
- 34 primary schools funded enabling 2000 nomad children to go to school
- 39 wells dug or repaired that provide safe, clean drinking water
- 104 cooperatives funded that empower women
If you wish to travel with TurtleWill to work among these remote tribal peoples you can participate in one of our Volunteer Funded Mobile Medical Programs. You don’t need a medical background to help.

featuring Irma Turtle
Irma Turtle is featured, along with the Dalai Lama and Steve McCurry (internationally acclaimed photojournalist), in a 13 chapter series for television focusing on "modern day nomads". Individuals have been selected for their efforts to help humanity.
Irma's 30 minute segment was filmed on location in Niger during a Turtlewill Volunteer Medical Program in 2002. The subject of the film was Turtlewill's ongoing projects involving medical, educational, agricultural and economic support of the Wodaabe and the Tuareg nomads.
