1. About us

Turtle Tours operates snorkeling trips, private charters and cruises to the Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve, departing Al Mouj Marina, Muscat, Oman. By booking a trip with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Bookings

A booking is confirmed once we acknowledge it and any required payment or deposit is received. You are responsible for providing accurate guest numbers, contact details and any relevant information (swimming ability, medical conditions, dietary needs, ages of children) at booking.

3. Prices & payment

Prices are shown in Omani Rial (OMR), per person or per boat as stated. Reserve permits are included on public trips and added per person on private charters. We accept the payment methods shown at the time of booking.

4. Cancellations & refunds

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure for a full refund or free rebooking. Within 48 hours we will do our best to rebook your trip; refunds inside this window are at our discretion. No-shows are non-refundable.

5. Weather & safety cancellations

If sea conditions or weather make a trip unsafe, we may reschedule or cancel and will offer a free rebooking or full refund. The captain's decision on conditions and on any individual's participation is final.

6. The reserve & permits

The Daymaniyat Islands are a protected reserve subject to Environment Authority rules, daily visitor limits and seasonal restrictions. Where permits or access are unavailable, we may alter the itinerary or offer an alternative.

7. Your responsibilities & assumption of risk

Snorkeling and boat trips involve inherent risks. You agree to follow the safety briefing and crew instructions, wear a life jacket where required, and declare any condition affecting participation. You take part at your own risk. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

8. Wildlife & the environment

Do not touch, chase or feed wildlife; do not stand on or remove coral; follow our reef-safe, plastic-free practices. We may end the participation of any guest whose behaviour endangers people, the crew or the reserve.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of your booking; we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses or events beyond our reasonable control. We maintain the insurance required to operate.

10. Photography

We may take photos and video on our trips for our website and social media. If you prefer not to be featured, let the crew know.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published here at the time of your booking.
