Questions we get asked

How is this different from the shared tour?

Same reserve, same crew standard. But the boat is entirely yours. No fixed route, no strangers, up to 12 guests for one flat price.

Is the reserve entry permit included?

On private charters the permit is arranged per guest and added to your booking: OMR 3 per adult and OMR 1 per child under 16. Omani nationals pay OMR 1 per adult and 100 baisa per child.

Do you decide the route or do we?

Together. Your skipper knows where the water is clearest that morning; tell the crew what matters most (turtles, quiet bays, more time swimming) and they'll shape the trip around it.

What's the boat like?

A custom-built 36-foot boat with shade and a toilet. Private charters take up to 12 guests.

What's it best for?

Families, groups of friends, photographers and special occasions. Anyone who wants the islands at their own pace.

Plan your trip

About the turtles: an honest note

Green and hawksbill turtles live around the Daymaniyat year-round, and most snorkeling trips see them, often up close. But they're wild animals in a protected reserve: we don't chase, touch, feed or corner them, and we can't script an encounter. What we can promise is a crew that knows the sites where turtles actually are, and the patience to let the ocean do its thing.

What to bring

  • Swimwear (wear it under your clothes)
  • Towel, hat and sunglasses
  • Reef-safe sunscreen (the reserve's coral will thank you)
  • A dry bag for phones and cameras
  • Seasickness tablet an hour before, if you're prone

We provide all snorkeling gear, life jackets (adult and child sizes), drinking water and snacks.
